Analisis Kebijakan Sistem Zonasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Pada Pemerataan Rombongan Belajar SMP Negeri Kota Pangkalpinang
Abstract
The zoning system policy in Accepting New Students (PPDB) at Pangkalpinang City State Middle Schools is implemented with the aim of equalizing access and quality of education. This research aims to analyze the zoning system policy in the distribution of study groups in Pangkalpinang City State Middle Schools. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the research show that the zoning system policy at Pangkalpinang City Public Middle Schools has not been fully effective in evenly distributing study groups. This is caused by several factors, including: Uneven population distribution, different school capacities, student interests and abilities, PPDB policies that are not yet completely consistent. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the zoning system policy needs to be evaluated and improved so that it is more effective in distributing study groups in Pangkalpinang City State Middle Schools. Some of the recommendations put forward in this research are: Equal distribution of school infrastructure and facilities, Improvement of teacher quality, More intensive outreach to the community regarding zoning system policies, More strict enforcement of PPDB regulations.
