PERAN WANITA SEBAGAI PENDORONG EKONOMI DAN KEUANGAN SYARIAH DI TANAH AIR

Abstract

This study aims to provide information about the role of women as drivers of sharia economy and finance in the country. This research was conducted qualitatively by using library research methods whose data sources were obtained from libraries, books, papers that were relevant to the subject matter of the problems analyzed in this study, such as the problem of the role of women as drivers of the economy and sharia finance and others. etc. The results of the literature review show that the role of women as drivers of sharia economy and finance in the country is influential and significant. The participation rate of the female workforce continues to increase every year. The position of Indonesian women currently occupies an important and strategic position in the development of Islamic economics and finance. Indonesian women have the potential to drive economic growth. Gender equality can increase GDP. This further emphasizes that women's empowerment will have a positive impact on the national economy.
