The greenlab activities, focused on gardening and farming, prioritize child-centered learning using the project method. The aim is to provide an enjoyable learning experience and foster knowledge through hands-on activities. This nature-based approach also serves as an alternative educational model to enhance early childhood education. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Miles and Huberman’s data analysis method—data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing—was employed. The findings show that the greenlab activities involve farming projects, such as vegetable cultivation, where children, guided by facilitators, engage in the process from sowing seeds to harvesting. This method helps children acquire complex knowledge, while facilitators guide the learning by reflecting on the process. The study concludes that greenlab activities connect children directly with nature, teaching them about ecosystems, conservation, and environmental protection. This fosters environmental awareness from an early age. However, the study is limited to one institution, and the findings may not be applicable to other schools, particularly those in urban areas with limited access to nature.
2024-12-03T11:30:18+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.lp2msasbabel.ac.id/index.php/sus/article/view/4972Analysis of Work Stress Factors Among Young Teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta No. 20/e.3 Sungai Tutung2024-12-03T14:05:48+07:00Marsa Hijro Partiwimarsahijro@gmail.comMohammad Muspawimuspawi44@gmail.comK.A Rahmanrahman23@hmail.com
This reserarch aims to analyze the factors contributing to work-related stress among young teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) No. 20/e.3 Sungai Tutung. Imam Ibn Hibban and Al-Harith bin Asad Al-Muhasibi provide unique perspectives on the goals, content, and methods of moral education. This study examines the differences and similarities between their views, focusing on intellectual and spiritual approaches in moral education. Imam Ibn Hibban emphasizes the role of knowledge and intellect in fostering a love for good morals and avoiding vice. He sees morality as a reflection of one's intellectual understanding, requiring education to integrate cognitive, affective, and psychomotor elements. Conversely, Al-Harith bin Asad Al-Muhasibi approaches moral education through a Sufi lens, prioritizing the purification of the soul (tazkiyatun nafs) and closeness to Allah. He stresses the importance of controlling desires, introspection (muhasabah), and spiritual role models in shaping morals. Both scholars agree on the significance of manners and environmental influences in shaping behavior but differ in their emphasis on knowledge and manners as the foundation of morality. The findings underscore that Islamic moral education is rooted not only in knowledge but also in profound spiritual and moral dimensions.
2024-12-03T13:28:05+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.lp2msasbabel.ac.id/index.php/sus/article/view/5086Analysis of Evaluation of Grade IV Students' Understanding in Paragraph Writing at SDN 158 Palembang2024-12-03T14:05:49+07:00Mardiah Astutimardiahastuti_uin@radenfatah.ac.idBella Graceva Canavalliabellagracevacanavallia0503@gmal.comPadiman Padimanpadimandiman490@gmal.comSelvia Anantaselviaanantaa86@gmal.comShinta Belashintabela967@gmal.com
This study aims to analyze the understanding of grade IV students in writing paragraphs, including obstacles and errors that often occur. Online media serve as agents of change by promoting gender equality and challenging stereotypes. Women have long been subjects in mass media, yet discussions surrounding gender equality, the feminist movement, and its dynamics persist. Feminist campaigns often find the portrayal of women in media problematic. This study, titled Framing of Feminism Reporting in Online Media: The Perspective of the Educational Function of the Press, employs qualitative research using Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis model, which includes syntax, script, thematic, and rhetoric elements. The research analyzes how feminism is framed in the online media outlet Wongkito.co and links it to the educational function of the press. Framing feminism in this context reflects the media’s dual role: disseminating information and educating the public on values such as gender equality, courage, and female leadership. The educational function of the press emphasizes its role in raising awareness, challenging stereotypes, and fostering positive social change. The study finds that Wongkito.co portrays women as equals to men in social, political, and economic spheres. By highlighting women’s courage and leadership, it effectively challenges gender stereotypes, fulfilling the press's educational function and advancing the discourse on gender equality. This demonstrates how media can shape societal perceptions and advocate for progressive change.
2024-12-09T09:04:30+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.lp2msasbabel.ac.id/index.php/sus/article/view/5115Analysis of Character Education Implementation for Generation Z Students at SMA Negeri 2 Labuapi2024-12-09T10:50:30+07:00Haidir Ali Muteringbumipehaidir@gmail.comHairil Anwarhairilanwar210698@gmail.comSuprapto SupraptoSuprapto@uinmataram.ac.idMukhlis Mukhlismukhlis@uinmataram.ac.id
This study aims to determine how character education is implemented for Generation Z students at SMA Negeri 2 Labuapi. The findings reveal that SMAIT Putri Al Hanif applies both evaluative approaches during midterm assessments to periodically measure students' progress and achievements in Indonesian language learning. This demonstrates the school's commitment to providing holistic and measurable assessments, enriching the Indonesian learning process. However, this study has limitations, particularly in the research timeline. It only evaluates a few factors influencing the quality of midterm exam scores for 10th-grade students, leaving room for further research to explore other unexplored factors. Conclusions are drawn based solely on the available data analysis, emphasizing the need for future studies to adopt different methods, broader samples, and more comprehensive research instruments. The author hopes that future research can more comprehensively and efficiently manage and evaluate student outcomes from both formative and summative assessments. Teachers, as evaluators, must understand learning outcome processing techniques to minimize unfairness in student assessment. This study offers valuable insights into evaluation practices and provides a foundation for developing more effective assessment methods in Indonesian language teaching.
2024-12-12T09:14:03+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.lp2msasbabel.ac.id/index.php/sus/article/view/5135The Role of Islamic Religious Education in The Development of Students Spirituality and Morality in The Digitalization Era2024-12-12T10:22:11+07:00Efendi Sugiantoefendisugianto@gmail.com
Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in fostering students' spirituality and morality in the digitalization era. This study focuses on students at Pertiba University Pangkalpinang, examining how rapid digitalization impacts their behavior and values. While digital media offers vast opportunities for information access, it also poses challenges to students’ spiritual and moral integrity. PAI in higher education serves as a guide to internalize religious values, helping students counter negative digital influences. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis with students enrolled in PAI courses. The findings indicate that PAI positively contributes to students’ spiritual and moral development. Students acknowledge that PAI provides essential insights into preserving religious values amidst the digital information flood. Furthermore, PAI enhances students' critical thinking in filtering information and promotes responsible digital media usage. The study concludes that PAI significantly shapes the spiritual and moral character of Pertiba University students, equipping them to navigate the challenges of the digital era. It recommends further development of PAI with approaches tailored to students’ needs and emphasizes the role of lecturers as moral role models on campus.
2024-12-12T10:22:11+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.lp2msasbabel.ac.id/index.php/sus/article/view/5139Implementation of Al-Targhib Wa Al-Tarhib Method in Fiqh Learning at Syamsul Falah Islamic Boarding School2024-12-15T05:54:44+07:00Husnul Wahanhusnulwahan631@gmail.comH Usmanusman63@uinmataram.ac.id
This paper aims to determine the Implementation of the Al-Targhib Wa Al-Tarhib Method in Learning Fiqh of Worship and Its Impact on the Learning Motivation of Students at the Syamsul Falah Islamic Boarding School and to determine how important the Al-Targhib Wa Al-Tarhib Method is to be Implemented at the Syamsul Falah Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological research. The researcher as the main instrument collects data through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Thematic analysis is used to examine the habit of tadarus Al-Qur'an in improving students' spiritual intelligence. The results of the study indicate that the al-Targhib wa al-Tarhib Method is an important approach in Islamic education, especially at the Syamsul Falah Islamic Boarding School. This method combines motivation through rewards (al-targhib) and warnings through threats (al-tarhib), with the aim of forming students who are disciplined, responsible, and have noble character. In addition to being effective in shaping behavior, this method also imagines deep spiritual awareness. As an approach based on the Koran and the rules of fiqhiyah, al-Targhib wa al-Tarhib supports the goal of Islamic education to create a generation that is devout, moral and responsible to Allah and society. This approach combines modern educational theory with Islamic tarbiyah values in a holistic manner.
2024-12-15T05:54:44+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.lp2msasbabel.ac.id/index.php/sus/article/view/5117Development of Psychomotor Assessment Strategies and Instruments: A Comprehensive Approach to Improving Learning Quality2024-12-16T10:53:36+07:00Syarifah Risma Aulia23204082016@student.uin-suka.ac.idShaleh Shalehshaleh@uin-suka.ac.idChairul Bariyah23204082020@student.uin-suka.ac.idHendarti Suprobo23204072021@student.uin-suka.ac.id
Psychomotor assessment is an important aspect of education that focuses on students' physical abilities and motor skills. This study aims to examine the development of psychomotor research strategies, techniques and instruments that are valid, reliable, and in accordance with learning needs. The research method used was a literature study with descriptive analysis techniques from various related literature sources. The results showed that psychomotor assessment requires a comprehensive approach involving various techniques, such as tests, observations, performance assessments, portfolios, and products. The development of standardized and accurate assessment instruments such as assessment rubrics is an important step to ensure the validity and reliability of the assessment. Although there are challenges in assessing the psychomotor domain such as limited instruments and difficulties in objective assessment. The limitations of this study lie in the use of the literature study method which limits the scope of the study only to the available literature without involving data in the field or direct interviews with educators. For further research, it is hoped that it can conduct trials of psychomotor assessment instruments in real conditions in various types of education and involve more diverse respondents to increase the validity and reliability of the instrument.
2024-12-16T10:53:36+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
