Abstract
The book as a source of learning compulsory in the curriculum implementation in 2013 becomes very
important, because it is basically a book the student is able to transform science and life values
associated with core competence and basic competencies that are taught. Therefore, students' books
published by publishers Yudhistira need to be analyzed beforehand in order to correspond to the
curriculum in 2013. The purpose of this study was to analyze the charge of character education and
character education suitability contained in the student book with KI and KD contained in the
student book subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Budi in Elementary School in
the curriculum of 2013
