Analisis Faktor yang Memengaruhi Konsumsi Fast Food pada Siswa di SMA Cerdas Bangsa Kabupaten Deli Serdang Tahun 2020
Abstract
WHO data (2020) shows that as many as 80% of teenagers consume fast food, while data from the North Sumatra BPS (2017) that sells fast food is an average of 3,000 servings per month. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the consumption of fast food in students at SMA Cerdas Bangsa, Deli Serdang Regency. This research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional study design, which was carried out at SMA Cerdas Bangsa, Deli Serdang Regency. The total sample is 120 students from class X and XI. Data analysis used chi-square and logistic test. The results showed that there was an influence of knowledge (p-value = 0.001), the influence of media (p-value = 0.000), the influence of the school environment (p-value = 0.004), while the most influential variable was the media variable with (p-value 0.000). The conclusion of this study is that knowledge, media, and the school environment affect the consumption of fast food at SMA Cerdas Bangsa, Deli Serdang Regency, so it is suggested to the school to prohibit the use of gadgets during the learning process, cooperate with parents/guardians to supervise children in limiting the use of gadgets. gadgets while out of school, and in collaboration with the Health Office through the IEC (communication, information and education) program.
