Pola Asuh Orang Tua Dalam Mengembangkan Aspek Perilaku Sosial Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Lingkungan Nelayan 2 RT 05 Kecamatan Sungailiat

Abstract

This research discusses parenting patterns in developing aspects of social behavior in children aged 5-6 years in the fishing environment of 2 RT 05 Sungailiat sub-district. The parenting style of parents is something that must be applied to children and is relatively consistent at all times. This can be felt by all children, whether they have positive or negative values. The background for the researcher in writing this thesis is based on the results of observations in the fishing environment of 2 Sungailiat, especially in RT 05, where it turns out that many parents still don't know or don't understand how their children's social behavior is and there is also a lack of parental understanding regarding application of parenting patterns to children. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with research subjects of 7 children aged 5-6 years and their parents. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by researchers is data reduction or selecting data that is considered important. Then the important data is presented so that conclusions can be drawn. The results of this study show that the social behavior of children aged 5-6 years in the Fisherman 2 environment looks diverse. And the parenting style applied by parents to children aged 5-6 years in the fishing environment of 2 RT 05 of the 7 subjects, 3 parents applied democratic parenting, 2 parents applied authoritarian parenting and 2 parents applied permissive parenting. Where the parenting style applied greatly influences children's social behavior.
